He later took on the role of CEO at the Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA), leading efforts to internationalize and industrialize Taiwan’s cultural content industry through the strategic application of innovation, technology, and capital.
Taka Kao
Taka is the founder of TABEI and co-founder of the decentralized exchange JOYSO. Since 2020, he has led the N24 ARK.TPE Blockchain Innovation Base to promote blockchain and Web3 adoption. Taka also organizes the annual Taiwan Blockchain Summit. Previously, he managed large-scale data analysis projects at ITRI and advised on technology policies for the Executive Yuan.
Annila Yang
Annila brings over 10 years of experience in digital products and startups. With a continuous startup background, she excels in fast-paced, resource-limited environments. As a product manager in digital media, she connects user needs with design and business goals. Her work spans brand e-commerce and traditional industries, with over 20 projects led. Known for empathy and agility, she helps teams grow through change with strategic clarity.
JJ Fang
JJ Fang is the founder and CEO of AVA Angels, bringing over 15 years of experience in the high-tech industry and venture capital investment. He is deeply committed to early-stage investments, with a focus on startups that demonstrate high growth potential and the ability to generate long-term value. AVA Angels actively supports entrepreneurial teams in building connections with growth investors both locally and globally.
Humphrey Tsai
Humphrey is a seasoned digital media executive with over 20 years of expertise across streaming, internet, and gaming industries. He has held senior leadership roles at Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Google (YouTube), Disney, and Bandai Namco. Notably, as APAC Partner Ops lead for Prime Video, he achieved a 99%+ on-time publishing rate.
Beyond corporate life, he is the founder of Meguro Tenkosha, an independent watchmaking studio. Leveraging both big-tech scale and startup experience, Humphrey mentors founders on product commercialization, strategic partnerships, and cross-border expansion between Taiwan, Japan, and global markets.
Hsieh Shawn
Shawn bridges the gap between technical execution and business scale. He began his career in field engineering at Teradyne, followed by rigorous academic training in Marketing (University of Exeter) and Finance (Lancaster University) in the UK. Before leading Pi Mobile Technology as CEO, he spent over a decade driving growth at top-tier financial institutions, including CTBC, Cathay Financial Holdings, and Standard Chartered Bank.
Having successfully transitioned from Chief Product Officer to CEO, Shawn possesses a deep understanding of the challenges involved in turning a product vision into a sustainable business.
Karen Tang
Karen Tang. With extensive experience in building and scaling brands from the ground up, she has played key roles in two unicorn companies that successfully went public on NASDAQ. Her expertise spans brand strategy, digital operations, and early-stage and impact investing.
She previously led branding and growth initiatives at Qunar (NASDAQ: QUNR) and later served as VP of Brand at lifestyle group Atour (NASDAQ: ATAT), overseeing brand transformation and IPO preparation. Currently, she focuses on early-stage and impact investments across Asia and North America.
Jenny Hsu
Jenny is a communications strategist with deep experience advising startups, publicly listed companies, and high-net-worth individuals. Before founding her own advisory firm, she was a key member of Alibaba’s International Affairs team. Earlier in her career, she served as a foreign correspondent for The Wall Street Journal, reporting from Taiwan and Hong Kong. She is also the author of Billie, a children’s book inspired by a dog she rescued in China

Xavier Naville founded Creative Food, which became a leading supplier to McDonald’s, KFC, and Starbucks in China, operating 9 factories and serving 6,500 restaurants daily. He led the company to $150M in revenue before selling it to UK-based Bakkavor in 2007 and continued as CEO until 2011. Now based in Taipei, he advises multinationals on food-sector strategy and M&A as principal at Vision Management Consultants. Xavier also coaches CEOs and leadership teams on organizational scaling, and is the author of The Lettuce Diaries, a memoir on building a food empire in China.
